Influences that intellectually and artistically reflected on the artist
- A committed artist who lived the reality of his society, its daily problems, and political issues. He started his art journey by recording the lived reality of the toiling class. Then he chose the expressionism approach to incorporate his themes.
The theme played the primary role in shaping his visions. In his themes, we glimpse a tremendous expressive ability in his characters. He was also interested in coloring and chose his theme elements in total freedom that did not adhere to any law. Time and place were bound by the dramatic moment he skillfully utilized to serve his theme first. The artist went through the Expressionism then the Symbolism movement, to which he had recently turned.
He developed prospects for curating and drew up a map of the Egyptian museums in the 21st century, which was an important factor to the prosperity of museums in Egypt in 1995.
He represented Egypt with his fine artworks at the 3rd International Engraving Biennial in Győr, Hungary, which had a great impact in strengthening the Egyptian-Hungarian cultural relations, led to Egypt's winning the Biennial Award, and made him win the Győr Art Award.
